2 months of blogging

Well, yes, I made it 2 months. When I’ve started my site, I didn’t realize how much I will have to work for it, if I wanted to have some traffic and earn some money with it. I didn’t know in what direction to go either.I thought that I will post about every making money opportunity, but I then realized that I don’t what every “Post on this forum an win $1” opportunity listed on my blog. It’s more about blogging then just making money with it. It’s about sharing your opinion with your readers, debate on different subjects and of course, creating quality content. You have to always stay focus and follow your goals. As soon as you reach one of them, reward yourself properly.

What’s next?

Well, until the end of this month I want to have at least 100 visits per day and I want to submit my site to at least 100 directories. You can find a list of free directories here. Choose wisely though, because in my opinion quality is more important the quantity. Try to find directories in your niche or with a high PR. Another very important benefit from having a high number of quality links is the effect it has on search engine ranking. A lot of the major search engines use “link popularity” as a main factor in determining where your site should rank. If your site has a lot of high quality sites linking to it, the search engines can assume it is a popular site and therefore should rank higher.

One last thing, one last goal I would like to set: until the end of the month I would like to start my first PPC campaign using Yahoo Search Marketing.
